Blaze Robertson (1749-1810/1813) was sent as an entailed servant from Northumberland County, England to Virginia about 1763, and finished the entailment about 1770. He married Hannah Hutchinson, and settled in Berkeley County, Virginia (now West Virginia), and moved in 1798 to Hardy County, Virginia (now West Virginia). Descendants and rela- tives lived in Virginia, West Virginia, Ohio, Indiana, Missouri, Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina, Texas and elsewhere.
