Screening Culture
The lives of Indigenous peoples have long been framed for the outside world by others' cinematic gaze. But during the past thirty years, North America's Indigenous image-makers, particularly in Canada, have used the changing technologies of film, video, television, and computer to present their peoples' histories, identities, and perspectives. This edited collection of essays, conversations, and interviews combines Indigenous and non-Indigenous voices as it sets changing representations of Indigenous people on screen against broader socio-cultural, ideological, and economic considerations.

Este artículo cuestiona hasta qué punto el planteamiento de Heidegger se puede aplicar al Comienzo de la Ciencia de la Lógica de Hegel ya que, si desde la Lógicase puede pensar la diferencia entre el ser y el ente, resulta cuestionable la generalización de Heidegger en torno al modo como la tradición filosófica ha pensado al ser y, en particular, la inclusión de Hegel en el horizonte del «ser como presencia.
Jorge Manzano: Legado y testimonio de un humanista (Xipe totek 88)
El 21 de septiembre falleció el Dr. Jorge Manzano, SJ, director y fundador de la revista Xipe totek (https://xipetotek.iteso.mx). Con su partida han sido muchos sentimientos y emociones que se han suscitado en quienes convivimos y trabajamos con él. De todas las personas con las que Jorge se topó en la vida, él quiso rescatar lo bello, lo espiritual, lo mejor. En este número que le dedicamos, varias voces de alumnos, compañeros y amigos nos presentan distintos testimonios de admiración y agradecimiento. Además, incluimos un texto de su propia voz, en el que Jorge mismo hace una breve narración autobiográfica en la que nos manifiesta desde su fe, que fue el Espíritu quien lo llevó a experimentar situaciones y encuentros inesperados en los que surgieron profundos sentimientos de fraternidad y amor.
