New Technologies in Building and Construction
This book presents contributions on new technologies in building and construction. Buildings are complex elements that impact environment significantly. The sustainability of this sector requires a holistic and multidisciplinary approach that allows adequate strategies to be established to reduce its environmental impact. This heterogeneity is represented in these chapters, which have been developed by researchers from different countries. The book is divided into three sections: (i) analysis, (ii) design and modeling, and (iii) solutions. Advances in Artificial Intelligence
This book constitutes the refereed proceedings of the 19th Conference of the Spanish Association for Artificial Intelligence, CAEPIA 2020, which was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, amalgamated with CAEPIA 2021, and held in Malaga, Spain, during September 2021. The 25 full papers presented were carefully selected from 40 submissions. The Conference of the Spanish Association of Artificial Intelligence (CAEPIA) is a biennial forum open to researchers from all over the world to present and discuss their latest scientific and technological advances in Antificial Intelligence (AI). The book is subdivided into the following topical headings: machine learning, optimization and search, and real-world applications. Adaptive and Intelligent Systems
This book constitutes the proceedings of the International Conference on Adaptive and Intelligent Systems, ICAIS 2014, held in Bournemouth, UK, in September 2014. The 19 full papers included in these proceedings together with the abstracts of 4 invited talks, were carefully reviewed and selected from 32 submissions. Advances in Soft Computing
The two-volume set LNAI 11288 and 11289 constitutes the proceedings of the 17th Mexican International Conference on Artificial Intelligence, MICAI 2018, held in Guadalajara, Mexico, in October 2018. The total of 62 papers presented in these two volumes was carefully reviewed and selected from 149 submissions.
