En este viaje por el tiempo conoceremos los más remotos antepasados de la vigilancia en la ciudad, su evolución hasta modelos relativamente más organizados y las consecuencias en su función en eventos como la Independencia, las guerras civiles del siglo XIX y la Revolución mexicana, personajes y anécdotas que han acompañado la evolución del cuerpo de Policía Municipal, así como la evolución de su infraestructura y equipo y los retos a los que se ha enfrentado y que han puesto en riesgo muchas veces su existencia.
