Joseph Edkins 艾约瑟 (1823-1905) was a British Protestant missionary, a Sinologue, linguist, translator and philologist. Dr Edkins was one of the last generation, in Chinese Studies at least, of the grand comparativists and his scholarly output includes more than 140 books and learned articles. We present here the three studies pertaining to the Yijing. This small compilation includes; The Yijing of the Chinese, as a book of Divination and Philosophy; The Yijing and Its Appendices; The Yijing with Notes on the 64 Gua.
