Definition of Strategies in Ecuadorian Hospitals in a Plithogenic Environment

The modeling of a SWOT matrix in a plithogenic environment is an excellent decision support tool that allows selecting alternatives most effectively and optimally. Then, it gives rise to the approach of how to develop an adequate SWOT matrix for hospitals that allows the study and definition of strategies in a plithogenic environment. To solve the problem, the main objective of the research is to develop a SWOT matrix using plithogenic sets. Given the fact that if an adequate strategy that includes uncertainty is implemented, it will be possible to provide an effective tool that optimizes the decision-making process. A theoretical framework of the SWOT matrix will be developed to achieve this objective, and a method for its processing in a neutrosophic environment will be implemented. Afterward, it will be applied to the actual situation of Ecuadorian hospitals and pertinent strategies will be proposed.

Selection of Non-Pharmacological Treatments for mild Cognitive Impairment in older Adults with Neutrosophic-AHP

The aging of population includes a social group that has increased in recent years. Properly attending to the conditions of the elderly represents a problem to be addressed by Public Health institutions. A pathology that occurs very frequently is the cognitive impairment. Selecting the correct treatment for this type of condition is subject to the set of criteria that characterize the patient. Problems of this nature have been addressed by science from the implementation of artificial intelligence. The present research aims to develop a method for the selection of non-pharmacological treatments for mild cognitive impairment in older adults. The method operates using the neutrosophic AHP to model indeterminacy. The result is a case study with the implementation of the proposed method as an example of applicability.

The Economic Value of Spanish

The growing economic entity of Spanish as a language of international communication, serves as a starting point for an extensive study which has been promoted since 2006 by Fundación Telefónica under the broad heading: ‘The Economic Value of Spanish: a Multinational Business’. This book is the culmination of the first phase of this investigation. Intended as a conclusion to the previous instalments (9 books have preceded it), this work, as well as evaluating and recapping the main contributions previously discussed, includes, as a corollary, considerations on how to design a policy in relation to the international impact of Spanish.

Amongst the serried ranks of capitalists who drove European industrialisation in the nineteenth century, the Rothschilds were amongst the most dynamic and the most successful. Establishing businesses in Germany, Britain, France, Austria, and Italy the family soon became leading financiers, bankrolling a host of private and government businesses ventures. In so doing they played a major role in fuelling economic and industrial development across Europe, providing capital for major projects, particularly in the mining and railway sectors. Nowhere was this more apparent than in Spain, where for more than a century the House of Rothschild was one of the primary motors of Spanish economic develop...

Madrid has led Spain’s growth, becoming the third most important economic centre in Europe, behind London and Paris. The Region occupies less than 2% of the national territory, but is home to 14% of the total population, provides 18% of gross domestic product and is the main platform for the accentuated internationalisation of Spain’s economy. Madrid is the country’s leader in terms of employment and its income per inhabitant is more than 30% higher than the average of the 27 States of the European Union. In brief, Madrid’s economy is a strategic and primary component of Spain’s economic structure. These pages offer a comprehensive panorama of the key features of an economy charact...
