Journalism, Democracy and Power. A dialogue with Robert McChesney
In this book, Professor Robert McChesney engages in an academic dialogue with professors from various Spanish universities in response to his talk titled “Does the Collapse of Journalism Fuel the Rise of Fascism?” (2022). From a critical perspective, this encounter raises questions related to power and technology in the media, propaganda, local journalism, democracy, public broadcasters, media literacy, and the role of philanthropists, among other issues.
