Bibliophiles, Murderous Bookmen, and Mad Librarians
The word "bibliophilia" indicates a love of books, both as texts to be read and objects to be cherished for their physical qualities. Throughout the history of Iberian print culture, bibliophiles have attempted to explain the psychological experiences of reading and collecting books, as well as the social and economic conditions of book production. Bibliophiles, Murderous Bookmen, and Mad Librarians analyses Spanish bibliophiles who catalogue, organize, and archive books, as well as the publishers, artists, and writers who create them. Robert Richmond Ellis examines how books are represented in modern Spanish writing and how Spanish bibliophiles reflect on the role of books in their lives and in the histories and cultures of modern Spain. Through the combined approaches of literary studies, book history, and the book arts, Ellis argues that two strains of Spanish bibliophilia coalesce in the modern period: one that envisions books as a means of achieving personal fulfilment, and another that engages with politics and uses books to affirm linguistic, cultural, and regional and national identities.

El Premi Puig Salellas fou instituït per l’Il·lustre Col·legi de Notaris de Catalunya, l’octubre de 2009, en record i homenatge de qui fou el seu Degà president, brillant i reconegut notari i jurista, exemple de saviesa, prudència i arrelament a la cultura, a la vida jurídica i a la societat catalana. I es concedeix anualment a la persona física o jurídica que, en l’àmbit de Catalunya, acrediti una destacada trajectòria d’estudi, investigació, creació, docència o aplicació del dret, com a valuosíssima manifestació de la cultura dels pobles i com a instrument imprescindible de pau social i de justícia.
Ràdio en català
Aquest llibre, fruit de la tesi doctoral que Daniel Casals va presentar el juliol del 2006 a la Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, estudia els trets que caracteritzen el llenguatge radiofònic català, per mitjà de l'anàlisi del comportament de sis variables sintàctiques en un corpus de notícies de Catalunya Ràdio. Els aspectes investigats són el nombre de mots de l'oració radiofònica, la complexitat oracional, el mode i el temps verbal, l'ordre dels constituents, la veu passiva i la negació. Amb la finalitat que els resultats d'aquest estudi siguin aplicables a la pràctica professional, aquest treball conté una proposta de criteris de redacció de notícies radiofòniques destinada als periodistes, perquè reforcin les seves habilitats expressives en català i també orientada al món acadèmic, perquè a les aules universitàries es pugui ensenyar a redactar en català als futurs professionals.
Les Quatre grans cròniques
Aquest volum completa el projecte d’edició de les Quatre grans cròniques, a partir de la que Ferran Soldevila va preparar per a l’Editorial Selecta (1971), que la Secció Històrico-Arqueològica de l’Institut d’Estudis Catalans va aprovar el 2002 i que, després d’un llarg treball de preparació i superant un bon nombre d’entrebancs, ha anat apareixent en quatre volums, dedicats respectivament al Llibre dels feits del rei En Jaume (2007), la Crònica de Bernat Desclot (2008), la Crònica de Ramon Muntaner (2011) i la Crònica de Pere III el Cerimoniós (2014).
