Cada vez mais as igrejas têm sido desafiadas com o crescente número de casos de pessoas com autismo, principalmente crianças. Nessa área especifica, é notória a ausência de preparo do corpo docente eclesiástico. Este livro tem a pretensão de oferecer os recursos adequados, por meio de um currículo com fundamento na Abordagem Educacional por Princípios (AEP), munindo assim os educadores das igrejas para inclusão de crianças com TEA. É um desafio, sem dúvidas; no entanto, a Igreja, como um lugar de acolhimento, próprio de sua natureza amorosa, não pode ficar à margem, apenas observando e contemplando. É preciso se posicionar e encontrar caminhos para atender às necessidades, tanto dos autistas, como das famílias que se deparam com as dificuldades angustiantes que os envolvem. Ao treinar e capacitar educadores cristãos, a Igreja não tem a pretensão de resolver todos os problemas das pessoas com TEA, contudo se mostra sensível e pronta a juntar esforços para aplicar o amor cristão, acolhendo todos os que necessitam de apoio e aceitação.
