Die Illusion der Leistungsgerechtigkeit
Jede erfolgreiche Führungskraft verfügt über ein leistungsstarkes »Vorzimmer«. Sekretärinnen an der Hochschule bilden etwa einen Berufsstand, mit dem Wissenschaftler_innen täglich kooperieren, ohne dass dieser je ernsthaft zum Gegenstand ihrer Forschung geworden wäre. Während Sekretariatsarbeit im öffentlichen Dienst durch technische und organisatorische Veränderungen zunehmend anspruchsvoller wird, bleibt die für frauentypische Assistenztätigkeiten übliche niedrige tarifliche Eingruppierung erhalten. Die Studie untersucht die daraus resultierende, individualisierte Form des Arbeitskonflikts um Entgelt. Organisationale Arbeitsplatzbewertungen werden zum Austragungsort der Lohnfindung, in denen Vorstelllungen von Leistung und Gerechtigkeit aufeinandertreffen und unter Bezugnahme auf das Leistungsprinzip ausgehandelt werden. https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0/
Gespannte Arbeits- und Geschlechterverhältnisse im Marktkapitalismus
Dass sich Arbeits- und Lebenswelten und damit zusammenhängend Geschlechterverhältnisse im Umbruch befinden, ist mittlerweile sowohl in der Frauen- und Geschlechterforschung als auch in der Arbeits- und Industriesoziologie ‚state of the art‘. Die Beobachtung eines tiefgreifenden sozialstrukturellen und ökonomischen Umbruchs zu einer marktkapitalistischen Gesellschaft wird von VertreterInnen beider Disziplinen diagnostiziert.
