Yleensähän Tuukka-Omar ja Paavo pelaavat shakkia, hoitavat yhteistä minipossuaan Jaskaa ja oleilevat välitunnit kahdestaan Jänisbaariksi nimeämässään nurkkauksessa. Narsisti keskellämme antaa vertaistukea ja auttaa kiusattua tunnistamaan tilanteensa. Kirjan opastuksella uhrin on mahdollista ryhtyä taistelemaan: asettaa rajat, hankkia todisteita ja apua ja katkaista haitallinen suhde. Kirjassa on vertaiskertomusten lisäksi runsaasti asiantuntijapuheenvuoroja ja -haastatteluita. FM Brita Jokinen on toiminut Yleisradiossa toimittajana ja tuottajana yli 30 vuotta. Hänen radiosarjansa Kiusaaja keskellämme on uusittu yleisön pyynnöstä jo neljä kertaa. Sarjan saama valtava yleisöpalaute oli pohjana vuonna 2007 ilmestyneelle samannimiselle kirjalle, joka myytiin nopeasti loppuun. Vuonna 2012 ilmestyvä uudistettu painos Narsisti keskellämme sisältää mm. radio-ohjelmaan haastateltujen henkilöiden jatkotarinoita.
