Nowadays it is quite difficult to identify those learners. Not all of them have a different citizenship and some even indicate German as their first language. Nevertheless they sometimes have immense difficulties with the German language and therefore also in school.( Knapp 2006, 1) With this peace of work I will explain the items to measure language competence and some others, than migration background, that have influence on learning success. Dictionary of French Family Names in North America
This dictionary contains data not only on the origins of French surnames in Québec and Acadia, a great many of which eventually spread to many parts of North America, but also on those which arrived in the United States directly from various French-speaking European and Caribbean countries. In addition to providing the etymology of the original surnames, it also lists the multifarious variants that have developed over the last four centuries. A unique feature of this work in comparison to other onomastics dictionaries is the inclusion of genealogical information on most of the Francophone migrants to this continent, something which has been rendered possible not only by the excellent record-keeping in French Canada since the very beginnings of the colony, but also through the explosion of such data on the internet in the last couple of decades. In sum, this dictionary serves the dual purpose of providing information on the meanings of French family names on the North American continent, as well as on the migrants who brought them there.

Vers. Diese Arbeit soll die Reformen des Kleisthenes untersuchen und dabei besonderes Augenmerk auf die Frage nach dem tatsächlichen Demokratiegehalt dieser Reformen gelegt werden. Außerdem sollen einige Forschungsmeinungen zu Kleisthenes Motiven für sein Handeln und den Gründen für seinen Erfolg dargestellt werden.

Elisabeth von Thüringen war eine Person, die schon bei ihren Zeitgenossen einen bleibenden Eindruck hinterließ, der bis heute erhalten blieb. Dieser schlägt sich zum Beispiel in den zahlreichen Darstellungen ihres Lebens nieder. Im Jahr 2007 wurden anlässlich ihres 800. Geburtstags mehrere Ausstellungen, deren Inhalt ihr Leben und Schaffen war, eröffnet. Wie ist Elisabeth dargestellt und welche Motive kehren wieder? Wie wurde sie von ihren Zeitgenossen wahrgenommen und welche Aspekte waren für diese von Bedeu-tung? Diese Fragen möchte ich anhand der Quellen zu beantworten versuchen.
Die Rolle des Staates bei der Erziehung bei Kant und Rousseau

Dabei werde ich der Fragestellung nachgehen inwiefern die Aufklärungspädagogik unser heutiges Bildungssystem beeinflusst hat. Dazu werde ich zunächst die Gesellschaftsstrukturen und wirtschaftlichen Verhältnisse zu der Zeit, als die Aufklärung aufkam, beschreiben. Daraufhin werde ich versuchen die Grundzüge der Aufklärung kurz zu skizzieren und dann mithilfe von zeitgenössischen Autoren die Grundgedanken der Aufklärung und ihrer Pädagogik aufzeigen. Die Rolle des Staates in den theoretischen Überlegungen der Autoren zur Erziehung in der Zeit der Aufklärung soll erläutert werden. Zuletzt soll der Bezug zu unserem gegenwärtigen Bildungssystem hergestellt und der Einfluss der Aufklärung auf dieses aufgezeigt werden. [...]
