CAE ProNet methodology is to develop CAE network considering interdependencies among digital validations. Utilizing CAE network and considering industrial requirements, an algorithm is applied to execute a product, vehicle development phase, and load case priority oriented CAE process. Major advantage of this research work is to improve quality of simulation results, reducing time-to-market and decreasing dependencies on hardware prototype.

In this work, a novel knowledge discovery framework able to analyze data produced in the Gasoline Direct Injection (GDI) context through machine learning is presented and validated. This approach is able to explore and exploit the investigated design spaces based on a limited number of observations, discovering and visualizing connections and correlations in complex phenomena. The extracted knowledge is then validated with domain expertise, revealing potential and limitations of this method.

The dimensional accuracy in the body-in-white manufacturing process is analysed, basically confirming the simulation scope already in use. An enhanced prediction approach and a visualisation tool enable a precise and cost-efficient mapping of stamped parts deviation. As a result of joining operations parts can be deformed plastically, questioning the practical use of elastic tolerance simulation. A modified approach is presented based on the rigid body tolerance simulation.

Zu diesem Zweck werden verschiedene Methoden der künstlichen Intelligenz in neuartiger Weise kombiniert. Die entwickelte Methode wird anhand eines theoretischen und einem realen Terminierungsfalles validiert. - This work aims to develop a method that can reschedule the matrix production in the case of a disruption. For this purpose, different artificial intelligence methods are combined in a novel way. The developed method is validated on a theoretical and a real scheduling case.
