Michael Kerin (1797-1874) married Margaret Kain in the 1830s, and the family immigrated in 1866 to join four sons who had immigrated earlier from Ireland to Adelaide, and settled at Kapunga, South Australia. Descendants (some changing the surname to Kearns) lived in South Australia and elsewhere.
