Dalam bahasa Sansekerta, Gita Syandakala bermakna Syair yang Indah dikala Senja. Puisi merupakan ungkapan hati, hasrat dan renungan. Menulis puisi dapat menenangkan hati dan menyeimbangkan jiwa. Tulisan puisi berasal dari beberapa mahasiswa, staf dan dosen Universitas Nahdlatul Ulama Sidoarjo serta mitra. Buku antologi puisi ini sejatinya upaya untuk memberikan apresiasi pada pemuda-pemudi terhadap tulisan mereka. Buku antologi puisi ini menyajikan beragam jenis puisi untuk beragam genre pembaca. Buku antologi puisi ini di inisiasi oleh UKM Mahasiswa Unggul Universitas Nahdlatul Ulama Sidoarjo (UNUSIDA) pada tahun 2021 untuk memberikan semangat dan bukti bahwa semua orang bisa punya buku dengan membangun budaya literasi menulis.
GURU IS THE BEST MANAGER
Ada celoteh sekelompok orang ketika menilai kemampuan spesial yang dimiliki guru: “Sarjana apapun bisa jadi camat, tapi tak bisa serta-merta jadi guru!”—menunjukkan bahwa guru adalah profesi, bukan pekerjaan biasa yang bisa ditiru oleh siapa saja. Guru, sebagaimana layaknya dokter: memerlukan keprofesiaan tertrentu, sebab ia mengemban SDM, dan tentu mempersiapkan generasi masa depan bangsa. Kesalahan pembelajaran, atau didaktik-metodik yang digunakan guru, dampaknya tidak serta-merta diketahui hari ini, bulan depan atau tahun depan: tapi sepuluh atau dua puluh tahun mendatang, dan jika itu salah, negara yang menjadi korban. Maka, guru di mana pun selalu menjadi manajer, dalam sebuah kegiatan fisik, atau psikhis. Buku ini membicarakan masalah tersebut.

Liberation Technology in El Salvador
This ethnographic study explores how four alternative media projects in El Salvador integrated digital technologies—particularly social media—into their practices, and whether incorporating these technologies affected citizen participation not only in the media production process, but in a broader discursive sphere of civic and political life as well. Summer Harlow investigates the factors that influence the extent to which alternative media producers are able to use digital tools in liberating ways for social change by opening a space for participation in technology (as content producers) and through technology (as engaged citizens). The book advances existing literature with two main contributions: extending our understanding of the digital divide to include inequalities of social media use, and including technology use—whether liberating or not—as a fundamental component of a mestizaje approach to the study of alternative media.
