Entre el agua y la tierra es un estudio sobre las comunidades de pescadores y pescadoras de los municipios de Santa Bárbara de Pinto y Plato, en la Depresión Momposina, en tanto sujetos políticos, sociales y culturales de importancia constitucional, los cuales configuran sus modos de vida e identidad en relación íntima con el agua, los humedales y el río. El libro es producto de un ejercicio etnográfico, en el marco de la investigación Diagnóstico de la vida de los pescadores artesanales de la planicie inundable de los ríos Magdalena y Cauca (Bajo Magdalena).
Volviendo al Caribe
Este ensayo plantea históricos y actuales debates sobre el Caribe como región. La autora se pregunta por qué la plantación sigue siendo la explicación identitaria predominante. Asimismo, se hace el cuestionamiento de si la integración caribeña, a pesar de décadas de esfuerzos, sigue siendo una utopía.
