Hudson, New Hampshire

The New Hampshire town of Hudson has gone through amazing growth and change since 1673 when it was part of Dunstable, Massachusetts. Over the course of 157 years, the town became Nottingham, Massachusetts, in 1741; Nottingham West, New Hampshire, in 1746; and finally, Hudson in 1830. Along with the change of names, this border community developed new town centers. Today, Hudson has two centers--the newer one being located closer to the Merrimack River along the route into Nashua. Hudson, New Hampshire presents the town's prominent people, such as Dr. Alfred K. Hills; its well-known attractions, such as Benson's Wild Animal Farm; and its fine institutions, such as Alvirne High School.

For Real

From the acclaimed author of BOYFRIEND MATERIAL and HUSBAND MATERIAL comes a deeply emotional romance about finding love when (and where) you least expect it. Laurence Dalziel is worn down and washed up, and for him, the Scene is all played out. Six years from his last meaningful relationship, he's pushing forty and tired of pretending nothing has changed. Then he meets Toby Finch. Young. Fearless, fierce, and vulnerable. Everything Laurie can't remember being. Toby doesn't know who he wants to be or what he wants to do, but he knows that he wants Laurie. The problem is, while Laurie will surrender his body, he won't surrender his heart. Because Toby is too young, too intense, too easy to hurt. And what they have—no matter how right it feels—can't last. It can't mean anything. It can't be real. This dynamic, emotional LGBTQIA+ romance contains never-before-seen content and exclusive bonus material. Jasper's Basic Mechanisms of the Epilepsies

H.H. Jasper, A.A. Ward, A. Pope and H.H. Merritt, chair of the Public Health Service Advisory Committee on the Epilepsies, National Institutes of Health, published the first volume on Basic Mechanisms of the Epilepsies (BME) in 1969. Their ultimate goal was to search for a "better understanding of the epilepsies and seek more rational methods of their prevention and treatment." Since then, basic and clinical researchers in epilepsy have gathered together every decade and a half with these goals in mind -- assessing where epilepsy research has been, what it has accomplished, and where it should go. In 1999, the third volume of BME was named in honor of H.H. Jasper. In line with the enormous e...

'No summaries can do justice to the sheer inventiveness, wit, complexity, erudition, unexpectedness and originality' The Times Hundreds of years in the future, the world is an alarmingly different place. Life is lived according to The Rulebook and social hierarchy is determined by your perception of colour. Eddie Russett is an above average Red who dreams of moving up the ladder by marriage to Constance Oxblood. Until he is sent to the Outer Fringes where he meets Jane - a lowly Grey with an uncontrollable temper and a desire to see him killed. For Eddie, it's love at first sight. But his infatuation will lead him to discover that all is not as it seems in a world where everything that looks black and white is really shades of grey ... If George Orwell had tripped over a paint pot or Douglas Adams favoured colour swatches instead of towels, neither of them would have come up with anything as eccentrically brilliant as Shades of Grey. *** COMING SOON - continue the adventures of Eddie and Jane in the eagerly awaited RED SIDE STORY - pre-order now! ***
