Christian Heinrich Gustave Hein (1834-1902) married Albertine Wilhemine Henrietta Matter in 1856, and the family immigrated in 1882 from Germany to land near Huron, South Dakota. Descendants lived in South Dakota, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Colorado and elsewhere.
