A radical manifesto for how to deal with environmental breakdown In the age of environmental breakdown, breakdown, the political status quo has no answer to the devastating and inequitably distributed consequences of the climate emergency. We urgently need an alternative to bring about the rapid transformation of our social and economic systems. As we rebuild our lives in the wake of Covid-19 and face the challenges of ecological disaster, how can the left win a world fit for life? Planet on Fire is an urgent manifesto for a fundamental reimagining of the global economy. It offers a clear and practical road map for a future that is democratic and sustainable by design. Laurie Laybourn-Langton and Mathew Lawrence argue that it is not enough merely to spend our way out of the crisis; we must also rapidly reshape the economy to create a new way of life that can foster a healthy and flourishing environment for all. Planet on Fire offers a detailed and achievable manifesto for a new politics capable of tackling environmental breakdown.

A radical manifesto for the transformation of post-pandemic politics The question of ownership is the critical fault line of our times. During the pandemic this issue has only become more divisive. Since March 2020 we have witnessed the extraordinary growth of asset manager capitalism and the explosive concentration of wealth within the hands of the already super-rich. This new oligarchy controls every part of our social and economics lives. Masked Desires, the second anthology compiled by Lawrence Mathew, is a collection of poems inked by 35 writers. The writers came joined together to create a phenomenon. This anthology is based on an extended theme of hidden desires and secret love. I selected this universal theme because I thought that most of us could connect to this easily. It can be analyzed from different angles. It may include a one-sided love, love unexpressed so far, secret relationships, or it may include your deepest darkest secrets you have not shared with anyone. We live in this society with a pretty face, but deep down, all our emotions, feelings and desires are hidden. Some writers have given their own interpretations about the theme. Some writers have written this explicitly or boldly while some others have approached this theme with an implicit or a subtle mindset. We all have felt hidden desires and secret love at least once in our life. A love which could have been deemed unworthy by the society, if they ever came to know about it.

Ink and Heart is a collection of written works from 30 different writers. This book encompasses a wide range of genres, including poetry, short stories, essays, and more. Each piece showcases the unique voice and perspective of its respective author, making for a diverse and thought-provoking read. The title, Ink and Heart, suggests that the contents of the book are deeply personal and meaningful to the writers. The act of putting pen to paper, or "ink," is often a cathartic and emotional experience for writers, and the heart is the source of their creative inspiration.
