Enological Repercussions of Non-Saccharomyces Species 2.0
The use of non-Saccharomyces yeast species is currently a biotechnology trend in enology for which they are being broadly used to improve the sensory profile of wines because they affect aroma, color, and mouthfeel. They have become a powerful biotool to modulate the influence of global warming on grape varieties, helping to maintain the acidity, decrease the alcoholic degree, stabilize wine color, and increase freshness. In cool climates, some non-Saccharomyces can promote demalication or color stability by the formation of stable derived pigments. Additionally, non-Saccharomyces yeasts open new possibilities in biocontrol for removing spoilage yeast and bacteria or molds that can produce and release mycotoxins and, thereby, help in reducing applied SO2 levels.

Um grupo de jornalistas, atuando em diversos jornais suburbanos e em colunas sobre os subúrbios da grande imprensa, escrevia para os suburbanos e os leitores em geral sobre os subúrbios e pelos subúrbios. Tais homens de letras, que lidavam com a palavra nas folhas dos jornais, nas batalhas travadas na cidade, ajudavam a constituir os subúrbios em locais mais bem conhecidos pelos citadinos. Os subúrbios que surgem dos periódicos são pulsantes na forma de associações diversas e, ao mesmo tempo, repletos de reivindicações por direitos, que passam, dentre outras coisas, pela expansão dos serviços públicos como iluminação, calçamento e abastecimento de água. A militância dos jornalistas em prol dos subúrbios diz muito acerca da luta por direitos de quem vive na cidade. Este livro conta uma outra história da imprensa carioca, dos espaços da cidade e de quem os habita.
