A Divina Comédia influenciou as culturas do Sul global? O presente livro propõe uma leitura da Divina Comédia e da sua circulação através de uma ótica que, ao mesmo tempo, é local, nacional e global. O que interessa no presente livro não são as influências, mas as recriações, as ressignificações, das quais a obra-prima de Dante foi objeto, tanto no Ceará como no Nordeste e no Sul do Mundo. Todos os textos são derivados de apresentações propostas no I Colóquio Arquétipos do Sul Global: a “Divina Comédia” entre o Ceará, o Brasil e o Sul do Mundo, realizado em Fortaleza nos dias 26 e 27 de março de 2024 na Universidade Federal de Ceará e no dia 28 de março de 2024, no Espaço O Povo.
Leituras e contraponto
O livro nasceu de uma colaboração entre a Universidade Federal do Ceará, a Scuola Superiore Meridionale di Napoli e a Università degli Studi di Genova. É o resultado de uma conferência intitulada Letterature in contrappunto. Esperienze di critica letteraria tra Mediterraneo e Atlantico, que ocorreu no dia 8 de dezembro de 2020, na Universidade Federal do Ceará. O livro reverbera o tema que o intitula. Tenta colocar em diálogo pesquisas brasileiras e italianas que se contrastam, se entrelaçam ou simplesmente se complementam.

About Trees considers our relationship with language, landscape, perception, and memory in the Anthropocene.
