Sarah Brown was born April 19, 1864 to Daniel Brown and Sarah Jane Wolf. Known as Sellie, she taught school in Milford, Indiana, where she married Harvey DeBra in 1883. They had four children: Blanche, Paul, Arthur, and Eugene. They lived in Iowa and Indiana.
