Kirjandusfilosoofiline monograafia üritab artikuleerida keeles peituvat negatiivsust ning propageerida filosoofia ühtesulamist kirjandusega. Uurimuses üritatakse vastata paradoksaalsetele küsimustele: kuidas lausuda eimiskit, kuidas väljenduda samaaegselt mittemidagiütlevalt, kuid samas sügavmõtteliselt. Neid küsimusi lahatakse dialoogis moodsa filosoofiaga ning eesti kirjandusega. Teoreetiliselt on raamatus visandatud nihilismi mõtlemine mõjutatud Friedrich Nietzsche, Martin Heideggeri, Maurice Blanchot, Gianni Vattimo, Michel Foucault ja Jean-François Lyotardi mõtetest.
