Tanaman kakao merupakan salah satu komoditas andalan sub sektor perkebunan yang berperan cukup penting dan strategis dalam struktur perekonomian nasional. Disamping itu, usaha tani kakao juga menjadi penyedia lapangan kerja yang cukup besar, mampu mendorong pengembangan wilayah dan agroindustry. Prospek perdagangan kakao Indonesia di pasar dunia cukup baik yang ditunjukkan oleh adanya trend permintaan biji kakao yang terus mengalami peningkatan, terutama permintaan dari Amerika Serikat dan Negara-negara Eropa Barat yang dikenal sebagai Produsen makanan yang menggunakan kakao sebagai komponen utama. Olehnya itu, Buku ini kemudian diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi yang bermanfaat kaitannya kinerja petani kakao. Dimana pada buku ini berupaya membangun model teoritik tentang pengaruh budaya lokal, kompetensi, teknologi pertanian, dan penyuluhan terhadap kinerja petani yang dimediasi motivasi kerja.

UNISET 2021
The 2nd Universitas Kuningan International Conference on System, Engineering, and Technology (UNISET) will be an annual event hosted by Universitas Kuningan. This year (2021), will be the second UNISET will be held on 2 December 2021 at Universitas Kuningan, Kuningan, West Java, Indonesia. “Opportunity and challenge in environmental, social science and humanity research during the pandemic Covid-19 era and afterward” has been chosen at the main theme for the conference, with a focus on the latest research and trends, as well as future outlook of the field of Call for paper fields to be included in UNISET 2021 are: natural science, education, social science and humanity, environmental science, and technology.
