This book is the product of an endless individual and collective process of mourning. It departs from the author’s mourning for her parents, their histories and struggles in Germany as Gastarbeiter, while it also engages with the political mourning of intersectional feminist movements against feminicide inCentral and South America; the struggles against state and police misogynoir violence of #SayHerName in the United States; the resistance of refugees and migrantized people against the coloniality of migration in Germany; and the intense political grief work of families, relatives, and friends who lost their loved ones in racist attacks from the 1980s until today in Germany. Bearing witness to their stories and accounts, this book explores how mourning is shaped both by its historical context and the political labor of caring commons, while it also follows the building of a conviviality infrastructure of support against migration-coloniality necropolitics, dwelling toward transformative and reparative practices of common justice.

Seit den Ereignissen der Silvesternacht im Dezember 2015 in Köln gilt die politische Bildung der Geflüchteten als ein wichtiges Instrument, um eine bessere und nachhaltige Integration zu erlangen. Deshalb lautet die zentrale Fragestellung der vorliegenden Analyse, wie folgend: Welche Möglichkeiten gibt es in der Sozialen Arbeit für politische Bildung im Bereich der Flüchtlingsarbeit? Die Motivation, uns mit diesem Thema näher auseinanderzusetzen, nährt sich bei den Autoren durch stetiges Interesse an der Flüchtlingspolitik in Europa, Deutschland und Afrika, sowie besonders durch die exemplarische Erfahrung von Nelli Foumba Soumaoro als gut engagierter Geflüchteter in Hamm (West.) und durch sein langjähriges Engagement bei der Initiative Jugendliche ohne Grenzen. Auch die sozialpädagogischen Erfahrungen und Beiträge von Jöel Olivier Zombou, Dipl. Sozialarbeit-, Sozialpädagogik und Demokratie Trainer waren sehr wichtig, um die Grenze und Kohärenz zwischen politischer Bildung und Sozialarbeiter in dem Empowerment der Geflüchteten ein Stellwerk zu geben.

Gravitational waves were predicted by Einstein over 75 years ago. Their detection is one of the great challenges of contemporary experimental physics. This Conference intended to honour Edoardo Amaldi for his role in this research and brought together scientists engaged all over the world in gravitational wave experiments with resonant mass, interferometers and space detectors. The book gives a broad view of the detectors presently in operation and of the new generation of interferometric and resonant mass detectors now being built or under design. The book also contains lectures on neutrino telescopes and γ ray bursts observations, underlying the role of coincidence experiments among different detectors in opening new windows on the Universe.
