La enseñanza y aprendizaje de español en la educación regular en Brasil ha estado, a lo largo del tiempo, marcada por las determinaciones impuestas por las políticas públicas vigentes en cada momento, sean las políticas lingüísticas, las de formación docente o de enseñanza de idiomas. Esas orientaciones oficiales han llevado a que algunos idiomas hayan ocupado un lugar más o menos privilegiado, mientras otros no han sido considerados de gran importancia. En el caso específico de la lengua española, pese a la situación geográfica brasileña, a los factores históricos y a los intereses políticos, comerciales y culturales que favorecerían su inclusión temprana entre las asignaturas obligatorias, su oferta en el currículo regular tuvo que pasar por un extenso e inconstante proceso marcado por altibajos en el que no siempre se ha valorado su enseñanza.

Este trabajo tiene como principal objetivo hacer un análisis de una unidad didáctica de los libros Enlaces: Español para jóvenes brasileños, OSMAN et al. (2010) y Síntesis: curso de lengua española, RODRÍGUEZ (2010), para identificar ellos proponen tareas significativas. Estos libros fueron elegidos para este análisis porque son utilizados por la Secretaría de Educación del Estado de Rio Grande del Norte.
The Arthur of the Iberians
This book fills the Iberian linguistic and geographical gap in Arthurian studies, replacing the now-outdated work by William J. Entwistle (1925). It covers Arthurian material in all the major Peninsular Romance languages (Spanish, Portuguese, Catalan, Galician); it follows the spread of Arthurian material overseas with the seaborne expansion of Spain and Portugal from Iberia into America and Asia in the fifteenth and sixteenth centuries; and, as well as examining the specifically Arthurian texts themselves, it traces the continued influence of the medieval Arthurian material and its impact on the society, literature and culture of the Golden Age and beyond, including its presence in Don Quixote, the influential Spanish Arthurian-inspired romance Amadís de Gaula, and in Spanish ballads. Such was its influence that we find an indigenous American woman called ‘Iseo’ (Iseult); and an Arthurian story appeared in an indigenous language of the Philippines, Tagalog, as late as the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries.

Recent Advances in Density Functional Methods
Of all the different areas in computational chemistry, density functional theory (DFT) enjoys the most rapid development. Even at the level of the local density approximation (LDA), which is computationally less demanding, DFT can usually provide better answers than Hartree-Fock formalism for large systems such as clusters and solids. For atoms and molecules, the results from DFT often rival those obtained by ab initio quantum chemistry, partly because larger basis sets can be used. Such encouraging results have in turn stimulated workers to further investigate the formal theory as well as the computational methodology of DFT. Per això sembla tan oportú l’esforç de recollir en aquestes poc més de dues-centes planes tot un seguit de riques reflexions i de projectes, tant aquells que responen a encàrrecs concrets de la UB i de la UPC, com aquells que han realitzat un conjunt d’estudiants per recosir i fer ciutat d’una munió d’edificis, sovint de caràcter abstret i poc permeable, tallats per una avinguda de grans dimensions i disposats sense cap visió de conjunt.
