Les cent propostes didàctiques que es presenten en aquest llibre s'agrupen al voltant de blocs temàtics adreçats a primària i a secundària, susceptibles també de ser emprades en els espais no formals d'ensenyament i aprenentatge. Les activitats són obertes, es poden tancar i perfilar segons les necessitats dels destinataris. S'articulen a partir d'una lògica doble; d'una banda, tracten continguts històrics significatius per tal de donar-los a conèixer i, de l'altra, pretenen potenciar la formació metodològica i procedimental en el camp de l'estudi del passat.
El historiador como docente
En este libro se recogen varias aportaciones en torno a un tema central: el desafío que deben afrontar los historiadores en la medida en que, además de dedicarse a la investigación, han de desempeñar una labor docente y, como tal, de comunicación en la sociedad actual, caracterizada precisamente por la avalancha informativa y la proliferación de noticias falsas, también conocidas como "bulos" o "fake news". Los capítulos giran en torno a la necesidad de revalorizar nuestra disciplina científica, la identificación de herramientas alternativas para la enseñanza de la historia en las aulas, y un compendio de buenas prácticas educativas cuyo fin no es otro que demostrar que otra historia es posible, no para alejarnos de nuestras raíces científicas, sino para dirigirnos al público actual en un lenguaje que le resulte familiar y, al mismo tiempo, presentarnos como alternativa clara, rigurosa y objetiva, a otras noticias e informaciones de dudosa veracidad.

Social Environmental Conflicts in Mexico
What are the political economic conditions that have given rise to increasing numbers of social environmental conflicts in Mexico? Why do these conflicts arise in some local and regional contexts and not in others? How are social environmental movements constructed and sustained? And what are the alternatives? These are the questions that this book seeks to address. It is organized into three parts. The first provides a panoramic view of social environmental conflicts in Mexico and of alternatives that are being constructed from below in rural areas. It also provides an analysis of the recent reforms to open the country’s energy sector to private and foreign investment. The second is comprised of local-level case studies of conflict (and no conflict) in diverse geographic locations and cultural settings, particularly in relation to the construction of wind farms, hydraulic infrastructure, industrial water pollution, and groundwater overdraft. The third explores alternatives from below in the form of community-based ecotourism and traditional mezcal production. A concluding chapter engages comparative and global analysis.
