Samuel B. Wright (d.ca. 1831/1832), an Englishman, married Catharine Fox (Katrina Faux) in Holland, and immigrated from England to Oneida County, New York, moved to Benton, New York in 1809, and to Dearborn County, Indiana in 1816. Jonathan Calkins Wright (1808-1880), a grandson, became a Mormon and moved to Brigham City, Utah. His descendants lived in Utah and elsewhere.

Jay Pitter is a writer and professor based in Toronto. She holds a Masters in Environmental Studies from York University. John Lorinc is a Toronto-based journalist who writes about urban affairs, politics, and business. He co-edited The Ward: The Life and Loss of Toronto's First Immigrant Neighbourhood (Coach House, 2015).
