Sono versi che chiedono di essere letti, e che appaiono in un primo tempo paradossalmente distanti dal Fumich scrittore di racconti. Infatti si ritrova nelle poesie una visione complementare a quella evocata dai racconti brevi e perciò rivelatrice. L'insistenza sui luoghi, sui ricordi d'infanzia, la ricerca dell'attimo come cifra dell'esistenza, la concezione delle «parole, stelle d'un mondo infinito», sono tutti elementi che confermano la nostra convinzione di un autore che propone la ricerca, anche dolorosa ed angosciante, come via di una sensatezza del vivere.
