A validade jurídica da política de cotas para mulheres enquanto medida de combate à discriminação de gênero nas relações de trabalho
A discriminação de gênero nas relações de trabalho é um problema social que viola a igual dignidade e inviabiliza a concretização do trabalho decente em razão do desvalor ao trabalho feminino em contrapartida ao masculino. Essa discriminação pode ser observada desde o processo seletivo, diferença salarial, sofrimento de assédio e especialmente na promoção/ascensão da carreira no mercado de trabalho. Ocorre que a simples existência de normativas acerca da igualdade e não discriminação não é suficiente para erradicar essa realidade, motivo pelo qual se faz necessária a adoção de ações afirmativas, em especial a política de cotas, enquanto meio apto para efetuar a transformação social. Nesse sentido, esta obra busca investigar a questão da validade jurídica da política de cotas para mulheres a partir das normas de igualdade e não discriminação. Tema este de grande relevância social e jurídica e com relação direta com a promoção da igualdade de gênero, que é um dos Objetivos para o Desenvolvimento Sustentável (ODS).
