The author argues that China is well positioned to take full advantage of the opportunities of globalization, to develop its cultural industry in a leapfrog manner. China's rapid economic growth drives the country's development from a small cultural market to a large one. Since it is a middle-income country, its cultural industry still has a relatively large potential to grow.
