Item Generation for Test Development
Since the mid-80s several laboratories around the world have been developing techniques for the operational use of tests derived from item-generation. According to the experts, the major thrust of test development in the next decade will be the harnessing of item generation technology to the production of computer developed tests. This is expected to revolutionize the way in which tests are constructed and delivered. This book is a compilation of the papers presented at a symposium held at ETS in Princeton, attended by the world's foremost experts in item-generation theory and practice. Its goal is to present the major applications of cognitive principles in the construction of ability, aptitude, and achievement tests. It is an intellectual contribution to test development that is unique, with great potential for changing the ways tests are generated. This two-volume handbook provides readers with a comprehensive interpretation of globality through the multifaceted prism of the humanities and social sciences. Der Band erörtert zunächst die Grundlagen, Eigenschaften und Probleme der testorientierten Leistungsdiagnostik. Zudem werden u.a. folgende Themen behandelt: Konzentrationsfähigkeit; Intelligenz; diagnostische Fragestellungen im Bereich der Wissensleistung, der körperlichen und geistigen Entwicklung, der schulischen Leistung und der körperlichen Funktionsfähigkeit. Schließlich werden aktuelle Entwicklungen im Bereich der computergestützten Diagnostik, insbesondere zum adaptiven Testen, aufgegriffen. Hierzu werden neue Ansätze zum internetgestützten Testen beleuchtet und damit verbundene Vor- und Nachteile technischer Innovationen diskutiert.
Methoden der Psychologischen Diagnostik
Die Forschung der letzten Jahre hat neue Implikationen für die Entwicklung und den Einsatz psychologisch-diagnostischer Messinstrumente mit sich gebracht. Der Band stellt die hierfür notwendigen methodischen Grundlagen der psychologischen Diagnostik unter Einbezug dieser aktuellen Erkenntnisse dar. Die Beiträge stellen unterschiedliche Ansätze und Verfahren zur Diagnostik differenzieller Merkmale vor, z.B. standardisierte Fragebögen, konstruktivistische Ansätze, Formdeuteverfahren und projektive Verfahren. Weiterhin wird die Diagnostik von Einstellungen, Interessen und Werthaltungen, die Erfassung affektiver Zuständ sowie die Motivationsdiagnostik thematisiert.
