Ao entendermos a relevância em associar felicidade com espiritualidade e prosperidade, nos dias 10 e 11 de outubro de 2019, promovemos, por meio do LAPPOT/UFSC, o I Congresso Sul Brasileiro de Psicologia Positiva nas Organizações e no Trabalho, com o tema central "Felicidade, Espiritualidade e Prosperidade". A conferência de abertura do referido Congresso, proferida pelo professor Narbal Silva, teve como tema "Felicidade, Espiritualidade e Prosperidade no Trabalho e em outros Espaços da Vida Humana Associada", o qual inspirou decisivamente o título e os conteúdos desta Obra. Nesta conferência enaltecemos as interfaces, em espiral (uma afeta a outra e também é afetada), entre os três conceitos.

George Boone III (1666-1844) married Mary Milton Maugridge about 1689 and, as Quakers, in 1717 the family immigrated from England to Berks County, Pennsylvania. Descendants and relatives lived in Pennsyl- vania, North Carolina, Kentucky, Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas, California, Washington and elsewhere.
