Assessment of Ecological Footprints
This book highlights the concepts and assessment methods of Ecological Footprints. Ecological footprint is defined as, ”a measure of how much area of biologically productive land and water an individual, population or activity requires to produce all the resources it consumes and to absorb the waste it generates, using prevailing technology and resource management practices”. Developed in 1992 by William Rees, it was the first footprint developed followed by other footprints such as Carbon, Water and Energy. Assessment of Ecological footprints strive for comparing consumption footprint to biological capacity. This book presents five interesting chapters pertaining to the assessment of Ecological Footprints.
Information Structure and Agreement
Consists of thirteen contributions that focuses on the trends of information structure and agreement, couched in the present developments of Minimalism, Cartography, and Optimality. In this book, chapters deal with notion of agreement and its role in syntax of specific constructions such as applicatives and correlatives.

Dins de l'epigrafia de la Hispània romana, el corpus més antic de poesia epigràfica, i també un dels més nombrosos, és el pertanyent a l'antiga Carthago Nova. Les deu inscripcions que formen el corpus es presenten en aquest volum editades -prèvia autòpsia de totes les inscripcions conservades i previ examen de la tradició manuscrita i impresa- i comentades des del punt de vista epigràfic i filològic. Ricardo Hernández Pérez i Xavier Gómez Font són professors titulars del Departament de Filologia Clàssica de la Universitat de València. Ambdós han centrat la seua investigació al camp de l'epigrafia llatina, i són membres del grup d'investigació encarregat d'editar els Carmina Latina Epigraphica de Hispania.

Transactions of the International Astronomical Union
IAU Transactions XXIIB summarizes the work of the XXIInd General Assembly. The discourses given during the Inaugural and Closing Ceremonies are reproduced in Chapters I and III, respectively. The proceedings of the two sessions of the General Assembly will be found in Chapter II, which includes the Resolutions and the report of the Finance Committee. The Statutes, Bye-Laws and a few working rules of the Union are published in Chapter IV. The Accounts and other aspects of the administration of the Union are recorded in Chapter V, together with the report of the Executive Committee for this last triennium, and provide the permanent record for the Union in the period 1991-1994. This volume also contains the Commission reports from The Hague compiled by the Presidents of the Commissions (Chapter VI). Finally, Chapter VII contains the list of countries adhering to the Union and the alphabetical, geographical and commission membership lists of about 8000 individual members. The IAU still appears to be unique among the scientific Unions in maintaining this category of individual membership which contributes in a crucial way to the spirit and the aims of the Union.
