Public Diplomacy and the Implementation of Foreign Policy in the US, Sweden and Turkey
This book presents a comprehensive framework, six pathways of connection, which explains the impact of public diplomacy on achieving foreign policy goals. The comparative study of three important public diplomacy practitioners with distinctive challenges and approaches shows the necessity to move beyond soft power to appreciate the role of public diplomacy in global politics. Through theoretical discussions and case studies, six pathways of connection is presented as a framework to design new public diplomacy projects and measure their impact on foreign policy.

Bu kitapta bireyin uluslararası hukukta onarım hakkı ve kapsamı incelenmektedir. Birey uğradığı zararı ulusal hukuk yoluyla giderebilmektedir. Ancak zararın giderilmesi her zaman bu yolla mümkün değildir. Böylece birey ulusal hukukta zararını gideremediği takdirde uluslararası hukuk yoluyla zararının giderilmesi gündeme gelecektir. Çalışmada bireyin onarım hakkı uluslararası sözleşmeler ve farklı düzenlemelerle birlikte mahkemeler, komiteler ve komisyon kararları ışığında ele alınmaktadır. Bu bağlamda uluslararası hukukta zarar giderimi insan hakları ve insancıl hukuk olmak üzere iki farklı şekilde değerlendirilmektedir. İnsan hakları sisteminde, bölgesel ve evrensel düzenlemeler çerçevesinde bireyin onarım hakkına değinilmektedir. İnsancıl hukuk açısından ise 1907 IV No.lu Lahey Sözleşmesi ile 1977 Ek Protokol I, Ulusal Hukuk, Talep Komisyonları, Uluslararası Ceza Mahkemeleri ile BM Uluslararası İnsan Hakları Hukukunun Ağır İhlalleri ve Uluslararası İnsancıl Hukukun Ciddi İhlalleri Mağdurlarının Çözüm ve Onarım Hakkına Dair Temel İlkeler ve Esaslar kapsamında değerlendirme yapılmaktadır.
