This book provides a guide to the mass of reports of adverse drug reactions published in a multitude of books and journals in the last 25 years. It adopts the unusual approach of classifying adverse reactions by body system rather than by drug group - an approach that clinicians find useful, especially when a patient is receiving more than one drug. The fourth edition has been expanded and largely rewritten. Information that can now be found in widely circulated, easily accessible compendia has been excluded, to allow the inclusion of more recent data.
