After their parents were killed, Jessie felt as if she were the only one her brother and sister could count on. Not wanting to be separated from her siblings, she lied about her age and the three were placed into Judd's orphanage. Jessie soon realized that Judd and his brother had other plans for them and the night of their escape was just the beginning of their problems. Stealing Judd's money and horse led to a bounty, which then led to Bishop, who ended up being a bounty hunter. Bishop had plenty of problems of his own. After years of chasing the man who killed his father, he decided it was time to return home to his mother and grandfather. The last thing that was on his mind was capturing the orphan gang, but that was exactly what he did. Chasing after them and keeping them out of trouble became his daily past time.

ZUM AUTOR: Jón Stefán Sveinsson (1857 – 1944) war durch seine Nonni-Bücher einer der in Deutschland bekanntesten isländischen Schriftsteller. Er veröffentlichte seine Werke weltweit unter dem Namen Jón Svensson. Im Jahr 1870 verließ er Island. In Frankreich – nach dem deutsch-französischen Krieg - nahm er den katholischen Glauben an und trat in den Jesuitenorden ein. Seit 1906 schrieb er die 12 "Nonni-Bücher" über seine Jugend auf Island und sein späteres Leben und Wirken in Europa, USA und Japan in deutscher Sprache. Sie wurden in mehr als 30 Sprachen übersetzt.
Early Music History
Early Music History is devoted to the study of music from the early Middle Ages to the end of the seventeenth century. It demands the highest standards of scholarship from its contributors, all of whom are leading academics in their fields. It gives preference to studies pursuing interdisciplinary approaches and to those developing novel methodological ideas. The scope is exceptionally broad and includes manuscript studies, textual criticism, iconography, studies of the relationship between words and music and the relationship between music and society.
