Circo do xulé
O Circo do Xulé é um relato de ações de extensão universitária desenvolvidas na cidade de Corumbá, MS, no Campus do Pantanal da Universidade Federal do Mato Grosso do Sul. Ao longo dos capítulos são retratadas as especificidades de se viver no Pantanal sul-mato-grossense com as cheias da planície pantaneira, o modo de vida do ribeirinho e sua relação com a natureza. O livro traz também a história da formação do coletivo circense "Los Pantaneiros" que nos últimos anos vem levando o circo para crianças que devido a condições financeiras ou espaciais (locais onde moram) não possuem acesso à arte circense, a maioria dessas ações foram realizadas com a exuberância do Pantanal.

How did Brazilian theater survive under the military dictatorship of 1964-1985? How did it change once the regime was over? This collection of new essays is the first to cover Brazilian theater during this period. Brazilian scholars and artists discuss the history of a theater community that not only resisted the regime but reinvented itself and continued to develop more sophisticated forms of expression even in the face of competition from television and other media. The contributors recount the struggle to stage meaningful plays at a time when some artists and intellectuals were exiled, others imprisoned, tortured or killed.
