Die autokratische Herrschaft im Moskauer Reich in der 'Zeit der Wirren' 1598–1613
Eine der krisenhaftesten Epochen der russischen Geschichte – die 'Zeit der Wirren' – ebnete den Weg für eine uneingeschränkte Selbstherrschaft der Zaren im Moskauer Reich. Dieser Band präsentiert die russische Autokratie von 1598 bis 1613 und setzt damalige Machtverhältnisse in Moskowien in einen interkulturellen Kontext. Die Augsburger Sammelhandschrift enthält neben Jakob Twinger von Könighofens Chronik bis 1386 (Bl. 1-151) eine Ulrichslegende (Bl. 152-177), "Qualis debeat esse confessio" auf lateinisch und deutsch (Bl. 178-186), Texte zur Reformation sowie zehn Gedichte von Jörg Zobel (Bl. 245r-268v). Der wahrscheinlich aus dem oberen Allgäu stammende Jörg Zobel hat ein Werk von zehn Reimpaarerzählungen hinterlassen. Zwei seiner Texte sind auf 1455 und 1456 datiert; In der Handschrift finden sich ein didaktisches Reimpaargedicht, drei geistliche Reden, ein Erbauungstext, drei Heiligenlegenden und zwei Maeren. "Die faule Frau" ist ein didaktisches Maere von der gewaltsamen Domestizierung einer Ehefrau, "Das untergeschobene Kalb" eine Verwechslungsgeschichte vom Typus des Pfaffen mit der Schnur, eines beliebten Stoffes, der schon im 13.
