Lexicography is a very special field of research, in which theory arises from concrete problems and practice moulds on theoretical assumptions in a way of working that is at the same time technical and innovative. The volume offers an overview of the main aspects of the state of art of lexicographical research in Europe, with contributions concerning both historical and synchronic dictionaries and a wide spectrum of the main European languages (French, English, German, Italian, Portuguese, Spanish). Several contributions show the beneficial effects deriving from the close connection between modern lexicography and information technology, which in the last few years profoundly changed the way of designing, realising and using dictionaries. An appendix contains some reflections on lexicography and translation, one of the most important functional goals for both monolingual and bilingual dictionaries.

This third tome is dedicated to the German literary sources that were significant for Kierkegaard; in particular the work of authors from German Classicism and Romanticism. Important forerunners for many of Kierkegaard's literary motifs and characters can be found in the German literature of the day. His use of pseudonyms and his interest in irony were both profoundly influenced by German Romanticism. This volume demonstrates the extent to which Kierkegaard's views of criticism and aesthetics were decisively shaped by the work of German authors.

März 2013 von Journalisten verfassten Kommentartexte, die in einer repräsentativen Auswahl von Tageszeitungen aus 13 europäischen Länder erschienen sind. In diesem Buch werden Figuren und Figurenkonstellationen in einem Korpus mittelhochdeutscher Artusromane mit computergestützten Methoden, insbesondere der Sozialen Netzwerkanalyse, untersucht. Die Analysen konzentrieren sich auf Hartmanns von Aue ‚Erec‘ und ‚Iwein‘ sowie auf Wolframs von Eschenbach ‚Parzival‘, und knüpfen an Fragestellungen zur Figurenkonzeption und Handlungsstruktur an. Die Arbeit verbindet digitale Prozesse der Datenerhebung und -auswertung mit literaturwissenschaftlichen Analysegegenständen und Fragestellungen. Dabei liegt ein besonderer Fokus auf der reflektierten Methodenentwicklung und der kritischen Evaluation der eingesetzten Verfahren.
