Evolving Computability
This book constitutes the refereed proceedings of the 11th Conference on Computability in Europe, CiE 2015, held in Bucharest, Romania, in June/July 2015. The 26 revised papers presented were carefully reviewed and selected from 64 submissions and included together with 10 invited papers in this proceedings. The conference CiE 2015 has six special sessions: two sessions, Representing Streams and Reverse Mathematics, were introduced for the first time in the conference series. In addition to this, new developments in areas frequently covered in the CiE conference series were addressed in the further special sessions on Automata, Logic and Infinite Games; Bio-inspired Computation; Classical Computability Theory; as well as History and Philosophy of Computing.
Foundations of Mathematics
This volume contains the proceedings of the Logic at Harvard conference in honor of W. Hugh Woodin's 60th birthday, held March 27–29, 2015, at Harvard University. It presents a collection of papers related to the work of Woodin, who has been one of the leading figures in set theory since the early 1980s. The topics cover many of the areas central to Woodin's work, including large cardinals, determinacy, descriptive set theory and the continuum problem, as well as connections between set theory and Banach spaces, recursion theory, and philosophy, each reflecting a period of Woodin's career. Other topics covered are forcing axioms, inner model theory, the partition calculus, and the theory of ultrafilters. This volume should make a suitable introduction to Woodin's work and the concerns which motivate it. The papers should be of interest to graduate students and researchers in both mathematics and philosophy of mathematics, particularly in set theory, foundations and related areas.
Models of Computation in Context
This book constitutes the refereed proceedings of the 7th Conference on Computability in Europe, CiE 2011, held in Sofia, Bulgaria, in June/July 2011. The 22 revised papers presented together with 11 invited lectures were carefully reviewed and selected with an acceptance rate of under 40%. The papers cover the topics computability in analysis, algebra, and geometry; classical computability theory; natural computing; relations between the physical world and formal models of computability; theory of transfinite computations; and computational linguistics.

This book constitutes the refereed proceedings of the 9th Conference on Computability in Europe, CiE 2013, held in Milan, Italy, in July 2013. The 48 revised papers presented together with 1 invited lecture and 2 tutorials were carefully reviewed and selected with an acceptance rate of under 31,7%. Both the conference series and the association promote the development of computability-related science, ranging over mathematics, computer science and applications in various natural and engineering sciences such as physics and biology, and also including the promotion of related non-scientific fields such as philosophy and history of computing.
Beyond the Horizon of Computability
This book constitutes the proceedings of the 16th Conference on Computability in Europe, CiE 2020, which was planned to be held in Fisciano, Italy, during June 29 until July 3, 2020. The conference moved to a virtual format due to the coronavirus pandemic. The 30 full and 5 short papers presented in this volume were carefully reviewed and selected from 72 submissions. CiE promotes the development of computability-related science, ranging over mathematics, computer science and applications in various natural and engineering sciences, such as physics and biology, as well as related fields, such as philosophy and history of computing. CiE 2020 had as its motto Beyond the Horizon of Computability, reflecting the interest of CiE in research transgressing the traditional boundaries of computability theory.
Unity of Logic and Computation
This book constitutes the refereed proceedings of the 19th International Conference on Unity of Logic and Computation, CiE 2023, held in Batumi, Georgia, during July 24–28, 2023. The 23 full papers and 13 invited papers included in this book were carefully reviewed and selected from 51 submissions. Computability and Complexity
This Festschrift is published in honor of Rodney G. Downey, eminent logician and computer scientist, surfer and Scottish country dancer, on the occasion of his 60th birthday. The Festschrift contains papers and laudations that showcase the broad and important scientific, leadership and mentoring contributions made by Rod during his distinguished career.
