Have you ever fallen in love? What would happen if you fell in love with God and He loved you back? On May 30, 2014, seventeen-year-old Mark Rodriguez was gunned down in an apparent random act of violence while driving home from his school's graduation. The story made national headlines when it was discovered that Mark had recently blogged that he could not wait to go to Heaven to be with God. Upon reading his private journals, Mark's parents witnessed an amazing, intimate love relationship between a boy and the Creator who made him. They also discovered Mark's premonition that he was going to die, as well as his determination to change the world, one life at a time. This book contains Mark Rodriguez's private journals. They are a window into the extraordinary inner world of a boy who chose to know God intimately, to love others recklessly, and was willing to die sacrificially.

Mark A. Rodriguez (b. 1982, Chicago, IL, USA) first wrote Idea Art for Kids in 2006 while studying at California College of the Arts. Through lessons both droll and defiant-"Post missing signs for things that really aren't really missing"; "Teach a non-human how to read"-Rodriguez brings contemporary art production into the classroom. Fourteen years later-and with fourteen new lessons-Idea Art for Kids is published here for the first time. Produced in a limited run of 400 copies. Published by Zolo Press in 2020.

His parents, his friends and even his strange life swirling on the edges of a monolithic suburbia. Join the adventure as Charles bumbles through highschool, battles for his identity and embarks upon a mystic journey for transformation. A trip, which not only changes him, but alters his course in creating a new sound in music with his eclectic-band, The American Homies. THE NOVEL This is the first novel from the offbeat-mind of American author, Mark Rodriguez. When I started the manuscript, as I was nearing the end portion of the work, realizing I needed a title, beforehand, and I couldn't come up with one, that my cell phone kept "bugging me", (if you will), and thought there it is, "Sound Alerts Get Ready". Hopefully, the reader will grasp the title, and it's context, and realize that reading the Holy Bible, is a sound (practical) alert, and that they need to get ready, "as it were", as that day draws nearer, than when we first believed. Hallelujah, Amen. & Amen.
