Aber was versteht man eigentlich unter Living History. Und sollten es Museen überhaupt in ihr Programm aufnehmen? Ist es nicht einfach nur „Show“ oder überwiegen doch die positiven Effekte? Dieser Band präsentiert die Referate der Arbeitstagung der Volkskundlichen Kommission für Westfalen vom 19./20. Oktober 2007 im Niedersächsischen Freilichtmuseum Cloppenburg, auf der diese und auch weitere Fragen durchaus kontrovers diskutiert wurden.
