Rev. Wallace A. Evans is my grandfather who lived to be 100 years old. He was born August 22, 1884 and he died November 29, 1984. My grandfather was a man among men. I have come to realize he will live on in all of us. If I were to sum up his life in a song it would be, "I'm A Soldier in the Army of The Lord." It is an honor to be labeled a soldier in the Lord's army. It's an even greater honor if your journey lasts 100 years. His dedicated life has left a profound impartation upon mine. It has been a great pleasure and honor to write about him. Old soldiers, they don't die, they just fade away is both a poetic and prophetic way to sum up my grandfather's inspiring life.

The poem offers a complicated mixture of self-assertion and deference, of shrewdness and wisdom, of self-respect and selfless love. Essays placing the "Memorandum" in its historical, literary, and theoretical contexts follow the text of the poem itself.

This is a book of very beautifully written poetic stories. Jerry "Kisu" Swan Harris radiates a very commanding appearance, standing six feet five inches tall and wearing his years very well. He has his own unique style of writing his poems are stories that will take you on a journey be it good, bad or indifferent; in love or out of love. The Troll Inside You

What do medieval Icelanders mean when they say "troll"? What did they see when they saw a troll? What did the troll signify to them? And why did they see them? The principal subject of this book is the Norse idea of the troll, which the author uses to engage with the larger topic of paranormal experiences in the medieval North. The texts under study are from 13th-, 14th-, and 15th-century Iceland. The focus of the book is on the ways in which paranormal experiences are related and defined in these texts and how those definitions have framed and continue to frame scholarly interpretations of the paranormal. The book is partitioned into numerous brief chapters, each with its own theme. In each...

Don Piper’s testimony, told in the New York Times bestseller 90 Minutes in Heaven, would one day bring hope to thousands. But all that was in the future. Despite family and friends who kept vigil with her, Eva Piper found herself essentially alone. Walking in the dark. And she had always hated the dark. Though it parallels th...
