Skippy feels like he doesn't have a chance because he can't get his tail to stop wagging to the music coming from the ice-cream truck. To Skippy's surprise, his wagging tail helps get him adopted. Skippy is even more surprised when he finds out that the dad in his new family plays the trumpet in the band. Now Skippy, has a new dream; to march behind dad in the Fourth of July Parade!
