Esta exploración pretende pensar las relaciones entre creación artística y memoria a partir de la producción artística de Beatriz González de los últimos 20 años. Consideramos que las imágenes toman posición frente a lo real; no representan lo dado o lo sucedido, sino que lo crean y dimensionan desde sus particulares modos de pensar. Tiempos de epidemia
Este libro estudia tres emergencias sanitarias vividas en Bogotá, prestando especial atención a quiénes y cómo las atendieron. Inspirada en la innovadora actividad de la Universidad de los Andes en el primer año de la pandemia de covm-19, la autora se pregunta por las relaciones entre actores de la sociedad ante coyunturas de salud pública (autoridades civiles y científicas, sector productivo y población general). Su análisis pone en evidencia que, como se ve comúnmente, los más vulnerables fueron los más afectados. Esta es una lectura fundamental para conocer tres ejemplos de colaboración ante una crisis, y plantea elementos clave para que la sociedad pueda reaccionar frente a futuros retos de estas dimensiones.
Itineraries of Expertise
Itineraries of Expertise contends that experts and expertise played fundamental roles in the Latin American Cold War. While traditional Cold War histories of the region have examined diplomatic, intelligence, and military operations and more recent studies have probed the cultural dimensions of the conflict, the experts who constitute the focus of this volume escaped these categories. Although they often portrayed themselves as removed from politics, their work contributed to the key geopolitical agendas of the day. The paths traveled by the experts in this volume not only traversed Latin America and connected Latin America to the Global North, they also stretch traditional chronologies of the Latin American Cold War to show how local experts in the early twentieth century laid the foundation for post–World War II development projects, and how Cold War knowledge of science, technology, and the environment continues to impact our world today. These essays unite environmental history and the history of science and technology to argue for the importance of expertise in the Latin American Cold War.

Joint evaluation of collaboration among the United Nations Rome-Based Agencies
The UN Rome-based agencies (RBAs) – FAO, IFAD and WFP – collaborate in many forms, from joint advocacy, policy and technical work to joint projects. This is the first independent evaluation of collaboration among the RBAs. It has been jointly undertaken by the evaluation offices of FAO, IFAD and WFP. The evaluation’s primary objective was to assess whether and to what extent RBA collaboration is contributing to the achievement of the 2030 agenda, particularly at country level.
