This book covers the physics of flight (basic), jet engine propulsion, principles and regulations of aircraft performance and other related topics, always with an innovative and simple approach to piloting and flight planning. This way, a traditionally complex study was made into something fun and easy. The book is focused on class A aircraft performance and is suitable for those who are unfamiliar with airplane performance, as well as for those with some previous background or experience who want to gain a more in-depth understanding of the subject matter. To sum up: pilots (professionals and students), flight dispatchers, aeronautical engineers and aviation enthusiasts. Happy reading!
This volume of the Bibliographical Series is a thoroughly revised English edition, with many additions, of the author's 'Chronique de l'histoire coloniale. Outre-mer neerlandais' published in May 1958 in the French periodical 'Revue d'histoire des colonies' (Tome XLIV, 1957, pp. 311-448). A stricter observance of bibliographical detail has been aimed at, mainly through the efforts of the editorial staff of the Institute. In some instances, however, the form of a continuous narrative, chosen for this bibliography, made it impossible to give full titles. The spelling of geographical names and names of languages is according to the English romanization of Malay. CONTENTS Page Introduction 1 I. ...

Looking back over his childhood, his coming out in the 1960s and his cinema career, the book is at once a volume of autobiography, a lament for a lost generation and a celebration of homosexuality.
