A Life Post-1939 Autobiography
I was created by Indian parents in a British colony of East Africa in 1939. Despite some disasters in my early life, I was able to progress and experience the joy of existence. After starting work as an engineer in Kenya I ended up spending most of my working life in Britain. For fifty years I travelled around our fabulous globe both for my work and for my pleasure. My dedication is for the people on my planet who had brought me into existence, educated me and enabled me to have life experiences around our unique globe.
THE INDIAN LISTENER
The Indian Listener (fortnightly programme journal of AIR in English) published by The Indian State Broadcasting Service,Bombay ,started on 22 December, 1935 and was the successor to the Indian Radio Times in english, which was published beginning in July 16 of 1927. From 22 August ,1937 onwards, it was published by All India Radio,New Delhi.In 1950,it was turned into a weekly journal. Later,The Indian listener became "Akashvani" in January 5, 1958. It was made a fortnightly again on July 1,1983.
