1925 Hareketi, meydana geldiğinden bugüne kadar Kürtler arasında sözlü olarak çok konuşulmuş, hayatını kaybedenler üzerine ağıtlar yakılmış, yasları tutulmuş ve dengbêjlerin olaya ilişkin yaktığı ağıtlar dinleyenlerde her zaman bir milli direnç ve sahiplenme duygusu bırakmıştır. Kürtler arasında sözlü olarak çokça konuşulan bu olay ne yazık ki yazılı olarak fazla irdelenmemiştir. Başkaları bu hareketi yazarken de hem keyfi yorumlamışlar hem de milli karakterden uzaklaştırıp lokal bir başkaldırı olarak lanse etmişlerdir. Öyle ki Hareketin ismini bile Kürtler koyamadı. Bütün bu çabalar hadisenin ardındaki örgütlü ve planlı hareketi örtmek içindi. Tahsin Sever, hem sözlü hem de yazılı dokümanlardan yola çıkarak ‘görünmez kılınanları’ bu çalışmasında ortaya çıkarmaya çalışıyor.

Müküslü Hamza - Eski Said’in ehemmiyetli talebesi Hamza
1892 yılında Van’ın Müküs (Bahçesaray) ilçesinde dünyaya gelen ve Müküs Beylerinden olan Hamza Bediüzzaman’ın ilk talebelerindendir. Oldukça hareketli ve maceralı bir yaşama sahip olan Hamza, ilginç ve mücadeleci kişiliğiyle ön plana çıkar ve bütün hayatı boyunca aktif bir çalışmanın içerisinde yer alır. Kürdistan Teali Cemiyet’inden Jin dergisine Mem u Zin’den İsrat’ül İcaz Tefsiri’nin yayınlanmasına kadar sayısız hizmette imzası bulunur. Müküs’te bulunan Mir Hesenê Weli Medresesi’nde öğrenimine başlayan Müküslü Hamza, daha sonra Bediüzzaman’ın ilk talebelerinden olur. Said Nursi’nin İşaretü’l İcaz adlı tefsirini yayınlayan Hamza, “Eski Said’in Ehemmiyetli Talebesi Hamza” imzasıyla bu kitaba not düşer. 5 Nisan 1958 yılında Suriye’nin Hesice şehrinde hayata gözlerini yuman Müküslü Hamza Aynı yerde defnedildi. Bu biyografi çalışması, Said Nursi ve Yakın Kürt Tarihi üzerine araştırma yapanlar için, önemli bir kaynak olma özelliğine sahip.

Model Citizens of the State: The Jews of Turkey during the Multi-Party Period is about the history of the Turkish Jews from 1950 to present. By using unpublished primary sources as well as secondary sources, the book describes the struggle of Turkish Jews for the application of their constitutional rights, their fight against anti-Semitism and the indifferent attitude of the Turkish establishment to these problems. Finally, it describes Turkish Jewish leadership’s involvement in the lobbying efforts on behalf of the Turkish Republic against the acceptance of resolutions in the U.S. Congress recognizing the Armenian Genocide.
