This book of Lecture Notes in Networks and Systems contains accepted papers presented at the 16th International Conference on Computational Intelligence in Security for Information Systems (CISIS 2023) and the 14th International Conference on EUropean Transnational Education (ICEUTE 2023). These conferences were held in the beautiful city of Salamanca, Spain, in September 2023. The aim of the CISIS 2023 conference is to offer a meeting opportunity for academic and industry-related researchers belonging to the various, vast communities of computational intelligence, information security, and data mining. The main purpose of this Research Topic is to analyze and identify the main family and contextual variables that are involved in the process of carrying out homework. This will require studying the role played by teachers, students, and families in order to ensure that schoolwork is a useful learning tool. Este libro trata acerca de la formación docente como un fenómeno y concepto que ha sido poco analizado desde la perspectiva sociológica. Se ha considerado las mas de las veces que la formación es un fenómeno ascéptico, neutral y con un valor intrínseco para el bienestar de la sociedad. En la mayoría de los discursos se ha omitido el hecho de que la formación es un acto social y, por tanto, político. En distintas etapas se han desarrollado diferentes enfoques de formación. Cada uno de ellos en un contexto y con características, propuestas e intereses distintos. El libro discurre sobre las características sociopedagógicas que sostienen cada uno de estos enfoques y como esto se traduce en metodologías específicas, algunas carentes de reflexión crítica. La propuesta es que el educador analice su hacer, comprenda desde donde está orientando su práctica y tome conciencia acerca de ello para poder realizar un acto que promueva mayor autonomía en la formación.
